Since we have been receiving a lot of feedback on our latest published airport twitter ranking, we decided to completely rework and extend the list.
The list now includes the 100 most busiest airports in terms of passenger numbers according to recently published ranking in the Airline Business Magazine.
Still it is more than interesting to see that only two airports out of 100 have more than 10,000 followers. Even worse 68 airports have less than 1000 followers.

I’m glad to see you have taken up the issue of Twitter airports. We have an extensive database of airports (200+) that we have been tracking for well over 1 year now. Let’s compare notes.
